Safety First:  When running in the street or on the sidewalk against the traffic always make sure drivers see you before proceeding in front of them.  Runners frequently get hit when drivers look left and then immediately turn right and go without looking for runners approaching them.  Be aware of the when cars are at corners or coming out of driveways.

ABOUT OUR CLUB

Future Track was incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in April 1993.  The club goal is to enhance the running skills for all levels of adult athletes.  Members come from many of the surrounding areas (including Agoura, Calabasas, Camarillo , Moorpark, Oak Park , Oxnard , Simi Valley , Thousand Oaks , Westlake Village , and Woodland Hills) and vary in experience from beginning runners to All-Americans.

Some members run competitively but many do not.  When we do compete, we do so on the track, roads or trails at distances ranging from 100 meters to ultra-marathons.

Our club's email newsletter for paid club members lists other activities and upcoming events in the area.  We welcome you to stop by for fun and a great workout.

BILL DULEY, COACH

The club is extremely fortunate to have the expert guidance and leadership of Bill Duley, who was selected a National Top High School track coach in 2000.  He has 27 years of coaching experience from the youth level to Olympic Trials Qualifiers, and from beginner to advanced runners.

There are a number of beginning runners at each Tuesday track workout, and Bill works individually with them so they can complete the workout at a comfortable pace. Bill is dedicated to helping all runners succeed, and the club members are welcoming to runners of all levels, so don't be intimidated by the “fast” runners!  All the club members are here to help you succeed.

Please call (818-991-4786) or email (AskCoachBill@aol.com) with questions.

BRETT DARRINGTON, DC, ATC

Our club has the participation of a professional sports chiropractor, certified athletic trainer and talented runner who provides the members with advice and care.
