OTHER ACTIVITIES

Race Series – Throughout the year the club holds a “race series” to encourage interaction between members.  The races may be handicapped and the “winner” isn’t necessarily the first person to cross the finish line.

Fun runs – A few Tuesdays each year a fun run takes the place of regular workout.  We have had “Before the Chill Chili”, “Colors and Cones” and “Holiday Lights” runs.  Some runs are followed by potlucks dinners.

Scholarship – Each year the club sponsors a scholarship competition for high school cross-country and/or track and field athletes who are in their senior year.  Schools included in the competition are Agoura, Calabasas, Grace Brethren, La Reina, Liberty Christian, Moorpark, Newbury Park , Oak Park , Oaks Christian, Royal, Simi Valley , Thousand Oaks , Viewpoint, and Westlake .
